Commissioners Court Agenda

 

Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
 September 18, 2000

Notice is hereby given that a Regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at nine a.m. September 18, 2000, with the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on September 18, 2000, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

  1. Approve Minutes of August 28, 2000 and September 11, 2000.

  2. County Engineer

    1. Conduct public hearing and consider approval of the following Traffic control devices:
      • Install a yield sign at the intersection of Acres Road at Acres Spur, for south-bound traffice on Acres Rd

      • Install 30 mph speed limit on the following roads in Tumbleweed Subdivision: Wyatt Earp Loop, Billy the Kid Drive, Doc Holiday Drive, and Jesse James Drive.

    2. Personnel

  3. Discuss extending for 30 days the Order of the Bell County Commissioners Court Regulating Outdoor burning and regulating restricted fireworks. (Otherwise referred to as the "Burn-Ban"). Current Order expires September 24th.

  4. Consider amendment to City of Belton Tax Abatement Agreement with TEGE Corp.

  5. Report from Mark O'Brien of Morgan Keegan & Co. on Central Texas Housing Finance Corporation's 1999 Single Family Bond Program.
