Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
 October 23, 2000

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Special meeting of the above named Court will be held at nine a.m. October 23, 2000, with the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on October 23, 2000, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. Approve Minutes of October 10 & 16, 2000.

2. County Engineer

1. Consider approval of the following traffic control devices, to wit::

   • Install 55 mph speed limit on Featherline Road.

   • Install 50 mph speed limit on Stringtown Rd from FM 3117 to Shaw Road.

   • Install 30 mph speed limit on Hillside Drive, Hillside Estates.

2. Consider approval of the final plat of Mill Creek Springs Multi-Family Subdivision.

3. Personnel

3. Consideration of lifting or continuing burn ban.

4. Ratification and approval of members of the Board of Trustees for MH/MR.

5. Presentation of Texas Demographics presented by Jon Burrows, County Judge.

6. Consider approval of Alcoholic Enforcement Grant through Texas Department of Transportation and Bell County Sheriff's Department.

7. Consider appointment of a County Court at Law Judge; a Justice of the Peace, and a County Judge position to the Bell County Bail Bond Board.
