Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
October 30, 2000
Notice is hereby given that a Regular Special
meeting of the above named Court will be held at nine a.m. October 30, 2000,
with the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at
the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas,
to begin on October 30, 2000, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve Minutes of October 23,
2000.
County Engineer
- Consider preliminary approval of the plat for Mill
Creek Springs Phase II Subdivision. (Not in the Village of Salado)
- Consider preliminary approval of the plat for Shepherd's Glen
Subdivision Phase I.
- Consider final approval of the
plat for Bell Meadows Phase I Subdivision.
- Personnel
Report by Larry Tinsley, Director
of the Bell/Lampasas Counties Community Supervision and Corrections Department, on the
selection of his department's "Broken Windows" model of fighting crime through
police, probation, and community partnerships as one of five national sites for
recognition and technical assistance.
Consideration of request by the
City of Temple for the county's interest in property at 1410 S. 4th, Temple to be conveyed
to the City of Temple to enlarge an adjacent park. The property was included in a
September 5, 2000 tax sale and there were no bidders. The Tax Appraisal District of
Bell County is holding title in trust for all taxing entities.
Consideration of Block Grant
funding for Sheriff's Office.
