Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
 December 11, 2000

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Special meeting of the above named Court will be held at nine a.m. December 11, 2000, with the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on December 11, 2000, at 9:00 A.M. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

  1. Approval of Minutes of previous meetings. (December 4, 2000)

  2. County Engineer

    1. Consider awarding bids for Grade 4 aggregate for seal coating operations.
    2. Consider awarding bids for the purchase of five 5.5 cubic yard dump trucks.
    3. Personnel.

  3. Consider amending the by-laws of the Bell County Museum Board to increase the size of the regular trustees from 12 to 14 and to increase the term for an officer from one calendar year to 2 calendar years.

  4. Consider appointment of Matthew Wright, Executive Director of the Mid-Tex Chapter of the American Red Cross and Father Larry Heimsoth, St. Mary's Catholic Church to Bell County Temporary Emergency Relief Fund Board (TERF).

  5. Discuss the future meeting that will be held December 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon at the Mansion in Salado which will be conducted by the Brazos River Authority to discuss the Salado Business District Wastewater Collection and Treatment System Feasibility Study.

  6. Jean Coufal will present an updated report of the Bell County Judge and Commissioners Committee on People with Disabilities.

  7. Executive session to discuss real estate and personnel matters.
