Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
 January 08, 2001

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Special meeting of the above named Court will be held at nine a.m. January 08, 2001, with the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on January 08, 2001, at 9:00 A.M. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. Approval of Minutes of previous meetings. (January 2, 2001)

2. County Engineer

   a. Consider request by County Engineer to purchase a new brush chipper.

   b. Personnel.
   
   

3. Consider approval of the Grant Application and Resolution with respect to the Central Texas Narcotics Task Force for $418,204.00 with cash match of $50,685.00 from Bell County already budgeted as funding for an investigator.
   
   
4. Draw names for the 2001 Grievance Committee, from the 2000 members of the Grand Jury.
   
   
5. Consider approval of Juvenile Crime Victims Assistance Division Grant Application for $44,820.00 per year for 3 years, with cash and in-kind match of $8,964.00 from Bell County which is already budgeted.
   
   
6. Consider approval of Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant Application for $77,991.00, with cash and in-kind match of $8,666.00 already budgeted.
   
   

7. Accept Certificate of Recognition from U. S. Census Bureau to Bell County.
   

8. Announce Public Hearing for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 8, 2001, at the Rogers School District Cafeteria, to receive public comment on whether to replace the bridge over Little River on Sunshine Road.
   

9. WORKSHOP AT 10:00A.M. IN CONFERENCE ROOM TO DISCUSS REVISED PERSONNEL MANUAL FOR BELL COUNTY.
