Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
February 05, 2001
Notice is hereby given that a Regular Special
meeting of the above named Court will be held at nine a.m. February 05, 2001,
with the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at
the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas,
to begin on February 05, 2001, at 9:00 A.M.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approval of Minutes of previous meetings. (January 29, 2001).
- County Engineer
a. Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for the
following items: concrete, hot mix, cold mix, liquid asphalt, and pit run gravel.
b. Consider approval of the final plat for Pleasant Hill Addition Phase Two, a
sixteen-lot 17.710 acre development along Pleasant Hill Cemetery Road, in the E.T.J. of
the City of Nolanville.
c. Personnel.
- Recognition of Pct 2 Commissioner Tim Brown's selection as President of the North
American Super Highway Coalition, a coalition working toward making IH-35 the official
highway from the Mexican border to Canada.
9:30 a.m. Workshop in Conference Room
- Continue discussion of reimbursement resolution and other financing alternatives for
capital projects. Confer with county financial advisor on different financial
options.
- Continue discussion of presentation at V.G. Young Institute concerning Communication
Center..
- Resolution for National Food Checkout Day.
Wednesday, February 7, 2001 at 1:50 p.m. at College Station
Hilton Conference Center
- Presentation by members of Bell County Commissioners Court concerning the Bell County
Communications Center at the County Judges and Commissioners Continuing Education
Conference of the V.G. Young Institute of County Government to be held at the College
Station Hilton Conference Center, College Station, Texas.
