Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
 February 12, 2001

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Special meeting of the above named Court will be held at nine a.m. February 12, 2001, with the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on February 12, 2001, at 9:00 A.M. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. Approval of Minutes of previous meetings. (January 29, & February 5, 2001).

2. County Engineer

   a. Consider preliminary approval of the plat for Crescent Mesa Subdivision.

   b. Consider final approval of the amended plat for Brenda Lane Extension.

   c. Personnel.
   
   

3. Accept Certificate of Appreciation given to Bell County Commissioners Court by Texas A&M V. G. Young Institute of County Government for giving a presentation on the Bell County Communications Center at the 43rd Annual County Judges and Commissioners’ Continuing Education Conference.
   
   
4. Present Award of Exemplary Service to Prec. #1 Richard Cortese from the V.G. Young Institute of County Government for Service as Chair of the Commissioners Education Committee and support in planning, developing and conducting the Continuing Education Programs of the Institute.
   
   
5. Announce that a copy of the Brazos G. Regional Water Planning Area Regional Water Plan is on file in the Bell County Clerk’s Office for Public Availability.
   
   
6. County Clerk, Vada Sutton, to discuss County Wide training classes for Election Judges and Election Clerks.
   
   

   WORKSHOP SESSION IN JUDGE AND COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM 9:30 a.m.

   1.    Continue Review and Discussion of Updated Personnel Handbook.

   2.    Continue Review and Discussion of Updated Subdivision Regulations.

   3.    Begin initial discussion of Facility Planning and Prioritization.
   
   
   THE COMMISSIONERS COURT WILL MEET WITH THE BELTON CITY COUNCIL AT 5 P.M. AT THE BELTON CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS TO DISCUSS REAL ESTATE, ON TUESDAY FEBRUARY 13, 2001.
