Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
 February 20, 2001

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Special meeting of the above named Court will be held at nine a.m. February 20, 2001, with the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on February 20, 2001, at 9:00 A.M. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. Approval of Minutes of previous meeting (February 12, 2001).

2. County Engineer.

   a. Consider approval of an Interlocal Agreement with the Killeen ISD for the Construction of sidewalks from Warriors Path Road to the West Property Line of Nolanville Elementary School.

   b. Personnel.
   
   

3. Announce appointment of County Clerk Vada Sutton to the Texas Historical Records Advisory Board of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
   
   
4. Consider approval of County Bond for Tax Assessor-Collector.
   
   
5. Consider Corps of Engineers contract for Lake Deputies from the Sheriff's Office.
   
   
6. Presentation of history of South Pearl Street in Belton by Roscoe Harrison as a part of Black History Month.
   
   
7. Presentation of MHMR Video by Eldon Tietje, Director of Central Texas MHMR Center.
   
   
8. Consider Resolution in support of additional State Funding for MHMR Services.
   
   
9. Consider Resolution in support of Copperas Cove US Highway 190 by-pass project.
   
   
10. Consider Phone line request of Department of Public Safety.
    
    
11. Announce Public Hearing on replacement of Sunshine Road (Reed) Bridge at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, February 22, 2001 at Rogers ISD Cafeteria.
    
    
12. Consider approval to bid on Guffey Building, 211 North Main, Belton Texas.
    
    
13. Draw for one additional member of Salary Grievance Committee to replace member unable to serve.

    PUBLIC HEARING

    6:30 p.m.

    A public hearing will be held in the Rogers ISD Cafeteria, Rogers, Texas, on FEBRUARY 22, 2001, concerning the replacement of Sunshine Road (Reed) Bridge.
