Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
March 06, 2001
Notice is hereby given that a Regular Special
meeting of the above named Court will be held at nine a.m. March 06, 2001,
with the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at
the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas,
to begin on March 06, 2001, at 9:00 A.M.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approval of Minutes of previous meeting (February 26, 2001 & Public
Hearing for Sunshine Bridge - February 22, 2001).
- County Engineer.
a. Public Hearing for approval of traffic control devices.
b. Consider entering into an agreement with TxDOT for the replacement of structure
number 109 (Backstrom Crossing) in accordance with the 2002 off-system bridge replacement
program.
c. Consider awarding bids for materials.
d. Consider approval of the final plat for Southlake Harbor Subdivision.
e. Personnel.
- Phone Line request from Juvenile Probation.
- 9:20 a.m. Executive Session to Discuss Real Estate.
WORKSHOP SESSION IN JUDGE AND COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM at 9:30 a.m.
1. Discussion of Redistricting and Citizens Advisory
Committee.
2. Continue discussion of facility planning and prioritization.
3. Continue discussion of Personnel Handbook.
Notice: The Commissioners will be attending a "Conference of
Urban Counties Meeting" at noon WEDNESDAY (March 7, 2001) at the Doubletree Hotel,
Austin, Texas.
