Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
March 12, 2001
Notice is hereby given that a Regular Special
meeting of the above named Court will be held at nine a.m. March 12, 2001,
with the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at
the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas,
to begin on March 12, 2001, at 9:00 A.M.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approval of Minutes of previous meeting (March 6, 2001 & Public
Hearing for Sunshine Bridge - February 22, 2001).
- County Engineer.
a. Personnel.
- Phone Line request from Tax Assessor Collector.
- Consider approval of revised Personnel Handbook.
- Consider authorizing Tax Assessor Collector Sharon Long to participate in the Texas
Internet Vehicle Registration Renewal System.
- Consider approval of a grant application to the Criminal Justice Division to fund a
Communities in School program for Salado ISD and Rogers ISD.
WORKSHOP SESSION IN JUDGE AND COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM at 9:30 a.m.
1. Discuss initial work on Personnel Policies and
Procedures Manual for Supervisors and Elected Officials.
2. Discuss pending legislation and consider resolutions in support or
in opposition thereof.
3. Discuss census, redistricting and Citizens Advisory Committee.
4. Discuss policies and procedures on County Indigent burials.
5. Discuss facility planning, consultants, real estate and financing options.
6. Discuss allocation rates for County Support of Health Districts.
