Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
March 19, 2001

Notice is hereby given that a Regular Special meeting of the above named Court will be held at nine a.m. March 19, 2001, with the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on March 19, 2001, at 9:00 A.M. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. Approval of Minutes of previous meeting (March 12, 2001).

2. County Engineer.

   a.  Consider approval of the final plat for Crescent Mesa Subdivision.

   b.  Consider approval of the final plat for Shaw Branch East Subdivision.

   c.  Personnel.

3. Consider approval of name change of  Genevivee Street to Southlake Harbor.
   
   
4. Consider approval of District Attorney's Forfeiture Account Report.
   
   
5. Consider approval of real estate purchase of vacant property on Priest Drive in Killeen next to the Bell County Killeen Annex.
   
   
6. Consider approval of a reimbursement resolution for right of way purchases and capitol improvements.

   WORKSHOP SESSION IN JUDGE AND COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM at 9:30 a.m.

   1. Discuss initial work on Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual for Supervisors and Elected Officials.
   2. Discuss pending legislation and consider resolutions in support or in opposition thereof.
   3. Discuss census, redistricting and Citizens Advisory Committee.
   4. Discuss policies and procedures on County Indigent burials.
   5. Discuss facility planning, including education building, Potts building, and museum; consultants, real estate and financing options.
   6. Discuss status of compilation of data for Tobacco Settlement Report
   7. Discuss Bell County Water Issues and proposed Watershed Management Consortium.
