Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
April 16, 2001
Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the
above named Court will be held at nine a.m. April 16, 2001, with
the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the
Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas,
to begin on April 16, 2001, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Waive approval of Minutes of
previous meetings. (April 9, 2001).
County Engineer
- Conduct public hearing and consider approval of
the following traffic control devices:
Install 55 mph speed limit on
Luther Curtis Road, from Pendleton-Troy Road to Troy City Limits.
Install a stop sign on Shiloh
Terrace at Water Works Road.
Install a stop sign on Terrace
Drive at Lakeview Drive, Lakeview Terrace Subdivision.
Install a stop sign on Circle
Drive at Lakeview Drive, Lakeview Terrace Subdivision.
Install a stop sign on Bear Branch
Road at Lakeview Drive, Lakeview Terrace Subdivision.
Consider preliminary approval of
Northcliffe Phase VII.
Personnel..
Consider appointment of Edd Melton, Jr of Killeen, Precinct #4 to
Citizens Advisory Committee for Redistricting.
Consider approval of contract for
insurance consultant services in semi-annual rebidding of county insurance.
Consider Phone line request for
Larry Tinsley.

WORKSHOP SESSION IN JUDGE AND
COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM 9:30 A.M.
1. Workshop with CTCOG on County Thoroughfare.
2. Discuss pending legislation and consider resolutions in
support or in opposition thereof.
3. Discuss census and redistricting.
4. Discuss facility planning and design, consultants, real estate
and financing options.
NOTICE: Members of the Court may attend and
participate in the following activities during the week:
Central Texas Republican Women's Meeting, Noon, April 18 at Wildflower County Club.
