Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
July 16, 2001
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at nine a.m. July 16, 2001, with the
meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on July 16, 2001, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Minutes of previous
meetings. (July 09, 2001).
County Engineer
Conduct public
hearing and consider approval of traffic control devices.
Consider approval
of an interlocal agreement with the City of Nolanville for the seal
coating of approximately 1.54 miles of city streets.
Consider approval
of an interlocal agreement with the Village of Salado for the seal coating
of approximately 1.36 miles of city streets.
Consider approval
of an interlocal agreement with the Holland ISD for the seal coating of
approximately 26,300 square feet of School Parking Lot.
Consider final
approval of the plat for Hillside Estates Phase 3 Subdivision.
Consider approval
of Resolution regarding the County's participation in the off-system
bridge replacement program, equivalent match program, for the Sunshine/Strasburger
Bridge over the Little River.
Consider approval
of Resolution regarding the County's participation in the off-system
bridge replacement program, equivalent match program, for the Backstrum
Crossing Bridge over South Nolan Creek.
Personnel.
Consider approval of financial advisory contract with
First Southwest Company.
Consider adoption of
an Order authorizing the issuance of $7,925.00 Bell County, Texas,
Combination Tax and Revenue Certificates of Obligation; a Letter of
Representations with the Depository Trust Company, and a Paying Agent
Registrar Agreement; and ordaining other matters relating to the issuance of
the Certificates.

Consider approval
of Claims.
Workshop session in conference room to follow regular agenda covering
the following topics:
(1) Update by County Attorney Rick Miller and discussion of newly passed
legislation;
(2) Discussionof State and County Redistricting; (3) Discussion of
Facility
planning, architects, design, and financing; (4) Discussion of Budget
Issues.
NOTICE: Members of the Court may also attend and
participate (to include discussion of County

Ceremonies, Tuesday, July 17, 9 a.m. at HQ III Corps, Ft. Hood; Hill
Country Community
Action Board Meeting and Training, Tuesday, July 17, 11 a.m. at Plaza Hotel,

Texas; Partners in Health Committee Meeting, Tuesday, July 17, 2
p.m. in the
Commissioners Conference Room, Belton, Texas.
