Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
July 23, 2001
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at nine a.m. July 23, 2001, with the
meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on July 23, 2001, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Minutes of previous
meetings. (July 16, 2001).
County Engineer
Personnel.
Consider approval of two City of Temple Tax Abatement
Agreements with Tem-Tex Investments, Ltd.
Consider adoption of
an Order Prohibiting Outdoor Burning in Bell County (burn ban).
Claims.
WORKSHOP in Conference Room following regular
agenda: (1) Discuss initial draft of Bell County
Thoroughfare Plan Update; (2) Discuss newly passed legislation; (3)
Discussion of State and County
Redistricting; (4) Discussion of Facility planning, architects, design,
and financing; (5) Discussion
of Budget Issues; (6) Discuss Engineering & Road and Bridge
Issues; (7) Discuss Maintenance Issues.
NOTICE: Members of the Court may attend and
participate (to include discussion of County
Issues) in the following activities during the week: (1) BellNet Meeting,
Monday, July 23 at
1:30 p.m., Conference Room; (2) K-TUTS Annual Meeting, Tuesday, July 24, 9
a.m. at
Plaza Hotel, Killeen, Texas.
