Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
August 06, 2001

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at nine a.m. August 06, 2001, with the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on August 06, 2001, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. Minutes of previous meeting.  (July 23 &30, 2001).

2. County Engineer

1. Consider adding the construction and paving of Amber Rene Drive, Sherwood Shores VI, to annual work plan.

2. Consider final approval of the plat for Windy Hill Ranch Subdivision. 

3. Personnel.
   

3. Update from City of Killeen on Joint Use Airport Project.

4. Consider approval to apply Section 26.03 of the Tax Code to Tax Rate calculations for 2001 tax year. 

5. Consider approval of bids on 2 lots in Nolanville.

WORKSHOP at 9:30 a.m. in Judge and Commissioners Conference Room to discuss the following items of business: 1) Bell County Thoroughfare Plan; 2) North Noland Estates vacated lots;  3) Discuss flu
immunization program;  4) Newly passed legislation;  5) State and County Redistricting;  6) Facility
planning, architects, design, and financing;  7) Budget Issues;  8) Discuss Engineering, Road and
Bridge, and Right-of-Way Issues;  9) Discuss leases and Contracts;  10) Discuss Maintenance Issues.


WORKSHOP ON THURSDAY, 8/9/01 at 8:30 a.m. - Discuss with consultant insurance alternatives and costs.

NOTICE:  Members of the Court may also attend and participate (to include discussion of County
Issues) in the following activities during the week:  1) 4th Infantry Welcome Ceremony at Fort Hood
Ironhorse Parade Field on Thursday 8/7/01 at 9:00 a.m.  (2) Mental Health Coalition Meeting at Cedar
Crest in Belton on Tuesday 8/7/01 at 11:30 a.m.  (3) Farewell Reception for LTG Leon LaPorte at Fort 
Hood Officers' Club on Thursday 8/9/01 at 6:30 p.m.  (4) Central Texas Partners in Health Meeting at KingsDaughters Hospital on Friday 8/10/01 at 12:00 noon.

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at eleven a.m. August 6, 2001, with the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on August 6, 2001, at 11:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

        Discuss approval of accepting bids for the cutting and baling of grass on the Bell County Landfill.
