Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
September 10, 2001
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at nine a.m. September 10, 2001, with the
meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on September 10, 2001, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Minutes of previous
meetings. (September 4, 2001).
County Engineer
Consider approval
of an interlocal agreement with the City of Rogers for the printing and
seal coating of approximately six-tenths of a mile of City Street.
Personnel.
Consider the
following personnel policies, to-wit:
Sick leave pool
policy.
Placement of new
hires on salary schedule..
Policy on
temporary, seasonal or contingent employees.
Consider resolution regarding 911 day.
Consider authorizing County Attorney to submit Justice
Department Submission for proposed Local Option Election on November 6,
2001.
Appoint all Election Judges and Alternate Judges for all
special and general elections.
Consider approval of Interlocal Agreement for Regional
Auto Theft Enforcement Task Force.
Receive report of Order of re-appointment of Auditor by
District Judges and receive report from District Judges of Order certifying
the FY 2001-02 County Auditor's budget.
Receive report of Order of District Judges concerning
Court Reporter pay.
Claims.
WORKSHOP SESSION to be held in conference room to
discuss the following: 1) Internet deployment issues;
2) Omni failure to appear programs; 3) New legislation; 4)
Redistricting; 5) Facility planning, architects,
design and financing and Construction Manager Proposals; 6) Budget
issues; 8) Personnel issues;
9) Engineering Department Issues; 10) Maintenance Issues; 11)
Drainage Issues
NOTICE: Members of the Court may attend and
participate (to include discussion of County
Issues) in the following activities during the week: 1) Temple Area
Builders Association
Fish Fry and Auction at 6 p.m. on Monday 9/10/01 at Jack's Barn in Salado;
2) Texas
Federation of Republican Women Meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday 9/11/01 at
Wildflower
Country Club in Temple; 3) Local Emergency Planning Committee Meeting at 9
a.m.
on Wednesday 9/12/01 at Nolanville Community Center; 4) 911 Day Ceremony
at
2 p.m. on Saturday at 9/15/01 at Communications Center.
