Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
October 01, 2001
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at nine a.m. October 01, 2001, with the
meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on October 01, 2001, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve Minutes of
September 24, 2001.
County Engineer
Consider
authorizing County Engineer to advertise for ann bids Corrugates metal
culverts, fuel, base and reinforcing steel.
Consider awarding
bids for the replacement of the fuel pumps at the road and bridge yard.
Consider awarding
bid for the sale of the wooden bridge on South Mockingbird Road, Precinct
#3.
Personnel.
Authorize
advertising for bids for passenger vehicles approved in FY 2002
budget.
Authorize advertising for request for proposals for
collect call inmate telephone Service.
Consider Sheriff and Constable Fees for FY 2001-2002.
Claims.
WORKSHOP in conference room to discuss the
following: (1) Tax Assessor Collector, Sharon Long to discuss
Child Safety Fund Disbursements; (2) Subdivision and drainage
issues; (3) Policies on travel and expense
reimbursements; (4) Budget issues; (5) Redistricting and voter
precinct issues; (6) Personnel issues; (7) Engineering issues;
(8) Maintenance issues; (9) Utility aggregate update.
NOTICE: Members of the Court may attend and
participate (to include discussion of County
Issues) in the following activities during the week: 1) TxDOT Meeting on
FM 93 at 6:30 p.m.,
Thursday, October 4, 2001 at Belton Sparta Intermediate School; (2) S
& W Luncheon at
11 a.m., Thursday, October 4, 2001 at Mayborn Center in Temple.
