Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
October 22, 2001
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at nine a.m. October 22, 2001, with the
meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on October 22, 2001, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve Minutes of
October 15, 2001.
County Engineer
Consider awarding
bids for purchase and sale of motor graders and a track loader.
Consider setting a
date for a public hearing on the vacation/abandonment of a portion of
Cen-Tex Sportsmans Club Road.
Personnel.
Consider appointment
of representative to Solid Waste Advisory Council.
Consider Interlocal Agreement with Corps of Engineers for
Sheriff's office to provide additional Law Enforcement Services to Patrol
Belton and Stillhouse Hollow Lakes.
Consider adoption of Employee Protection Guide for
Biological & Chemical Threats.
Claims.
WORKSHOP in conference room to discuss the
following: (1) Bell County Thoroughfare Plan update by
KTUTS staff; (2) Subdivision Issues; (3) Bid procedures for juvenile
probation education building; (4)
Building Maintenance and Security Issues; (5) Financial Advisory
services; (6) Bell County Health
Facilities Corporation update; (7) Engineering and drainage issues;
(8) New Legislation;
(9) Budget Issues; (10) Redistricting; (11) Personnel policy
issues; (12) Expense
reimbursement policy issues. .
NOTICE: Members of the Court may attend and
participate (to include discussion of County
Issues) in the following activities during the week: 1) JAIL Ministry
Banquet at 6:00 p.m. on
Tuesday 10/23 at Bell County EXPO Center; (2) Change of Command ceremony
for 4th Infantry
Division at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday 10/24 at Ironhorse Parade Field at Fort
Hood; (3) Workforce
Development Board Awards Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday 10/25 at Plaza Hotel
in Killeen.
