Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
October 29, 2001

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at nine a.m. October 29, 2001, with the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on October 29, 2001, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit: 

1. Approve Minutes of October 15 and 22, 2001.

2. County Engineer

1. Consider abandonment of the utility easement between Lots 67 and 68 Lakeside Hills Subdivision.

2. Consider Interlocal Agreement with Armstrong Water Supply Corporation to pay $5,553.70 for the relocation of Water Line on Sunshine Road.

3. Consider Awarding bids for the purchase of crushed limestone base, corrugated metal culverts and reinforcing steel.

4. Conduct public hearing and consider approval of the Bell County Thoroughfare plan.

5. Personnel.
   

3. Consider approval of policy on travel and expense reimbursements.
   

4. Consider awarding bids on County Vehicles.

5. Consider approval of renewal of Interlocal Agreement with CTCOG for 911 addressing maintenance.

6. Consider approval of contract for financial advisory services.

7. Consider approval of FY 2001 final budget amendments.

8. Consider approval of 2002 Holiday Schedule.

WORKSHOP MEETING after Court in the conference room to discuss the following:  (1) Subdivision and 
drainage issues;  (2) Loss Control Issues;  (3) Personnel Policies;  (4) Budget Issues;  (5) Redistricting- 
Voter Precinct Issues and Road Issues;  (6) Personnel Issues;  (7) Engineering Issues;  (8) Maintenance 
and Building Issues; (9) Utility Aggregate Update; (10) New Legislation; (11) Wild animal ordinance 
issues;  (12) Discussion of the renewal of Detention Center Management Contract;  (13) Discussion 
of Proposed Constitutional Amendments. 

NOTICE:  Members of the Court may attend and participate (to include discussion of County
Issues) in the following activities during the week:  (1) Com Center Monthly meeting, Monday 10/29/01 at 
noon at Conference Room;  (2) Luncheon with BRA personnel, Tuesday 10/30/01 at 11:30 a.m., Conference
Room;  (3) Conference of Urban Counties meeting on SB 7, Thursday 11/01/01 at 1 p.m. at Doubletree Hotel, 
Austin;  (4) Water Update, Thursday 11/01/01 at 4:30 p.m. at Ranger Hall of Fame, Waco;  (5) 761st Tank 
Battalion Dinner, Friday 11/02/01 at Fort Hood Officers Club.
