Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
November 07, 2001
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at nine a.m. November 07, 2001, with the
meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on November 07, 2001, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve Minutes of
October 29, 2001.
County Engineer
Consider approval
of the final plat of Pendleton Country South Subdivision.
Consider approval
of the final plat of McNeese Subdivision.
Consider approval
of the final plat of Amanda Young Subdivision.
Conduct public
hearing and consider approval of the Bell County Traffic Control
Devices: 1) Install 55 mph speed limit on Oakalla Road from Ft. Hood
to the Bell County Line. 2) Install a yield sign on Cardinal Drive
at Robin Lane (Singing Quail Subdivision) 3) Install a stop sign on
Oliver Road at Three Forks Road.
Personnel.
Appointments to Bell
County Historical Commission.
Resolution in honor of Veteran's Day.
Claims.
(Note: The Court will recess it's meeting until
nine a.m., November 9, 2001, at same location, at which time
the votes will be canvassed for the Constitutional Amendment Election and the
Local Option Election.)
WORKSHOP MEETING (November 7) after Court in the conference room to
discuss the following: (1) Subdivision and drainage issues; (2)
Budget Issues; (3) Personnel issues; (4) Redistricting - Voter
Precinct Issues; (5) Engineering/road issues; (6) Maintenance and
Building Issues; (7) Utility
Aggregate Update; (8) New Legislation; (9) Wild animal ordinance
issues; (10) Senate
Bill 7 Implementation Issues; (11) Building Plan Issues.
Additional Workshop for Friday (November 9, 2001) at 10:30 - (1) Discuss Budget
Amendments previously approved.
NOTICE: Members of the Court may attend and
participate (to include discussion of County
Issues) in the following activities during the week: (1) Central Texas
Republican Women Meeting
at noon, Wednesday, November 7 at Wildflower Country Club, Temple;
(2) Blackland Research Center
Program Committee Meeting at 2 p.m., Thursday, November 8 at Blackland Research
Center, Temple, Texas.
