Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
November 26, 2001
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at nine a.m. November 26, 2001, with the
meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on November 26, 2001, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve Minutes of
November 19, 2001.
County Engineer
Consider releasing
Letter of Credit for Maintenance of Streets in Mill Creek Springs.
Consider variance
to subdivision regulations for 1.0 acre parcel adjacent to Lots 12, 13,
and 14, Woods of Owl Creek.
Personnel.
Consider making award under RFP for annual fuel contract.
Report on results of Electric Utility Aggregation Contract
negotiated by Texas Conference of Urban Counties Aggregation Project (TCAP)
d/b/a Public Power Pool.
Report on map of new voting precinct lines.
Claims.
WORKSHOP MEETING after Court in the conference room to
discuss the following: (1) Right of way and drainage issues; (2) Bell
County floodplain management issues; (3) Request to close Wells
Lane; (5) Juvenile Facility Bid Update; (6) Budget; (7)
Redistricting and voter precinct issues; (8) Personnel Issues; (9)
Engineering/road issues; (10) Maintenance and building issues; (11)
New Legislation; (12) Senate Bill 7 Implementation Issues; CSC Contract
Renewal; (13) Building plans/security issues.
NOTICE: Members of the Court may attend and
participate (to include discussion of County
Issues) in the following activities during the week: (1) City of Salado
Open House, Monday 11/26/01 - 5:30 p.m. at 313 North Stagecoach In Salado;
(2) Historical Commission Christmas Party, Monday 11/26/01 - 7:00 p.m. at Bell
County Museum, Belton, Texas; (3) Clearwater Underground Water Control
District Water Symposium, Tuesday, 11/27/01 at 1:00 p.m. at Expo Center; (4) Killeen Christmas Parade, Saturday 12/1/01 at 4:30 p.m. in Killeen, Texas.
