Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
December 26, 2001
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at nine a.m. December 26, 2001, with the
meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on December 26, 2001, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve Minutes of
December 17, 2001.
County Engineer
a. Consider preliminary plat of Shaw Valley Subdivision which is located in
the ETJ of the City of Belton.
b. Personnel.
Update/action on Sick Leave Pool Participation.
- Consider action to implement requirements of Senate Bill 7 for Indigent
Defense to include (a) approve personnel position and budget amendment; (b)
authorize furniture, equipment, computer, telephone, fax, internet, and
e-mail; (c) authorize printing of forms/documents.
- Consider request by City of Rogers for County to authorize and request
City of Rogers to annex the right-of-way of FM #437.
- Claims.
The Court will then meet in WORKSHOP session in the Court's conference room to
discuss the following:
(1) Update on presentations by vendors on financial and HR software packages;
(2) Flood Plain Management Issues; (3) Right of Way issues; (4) Request to close
Wells Lane; (5) Budget; (6) Personnel Issues; (7) Engineering/road issues; (8)
Maintenance and building issues; (9) Utility aggregate update; (10) Medical
Insurance Update; (11) New legislation; (12) Senate Bill Implementation Issues;
(13) CSC Contract Renewal; (14) Building plans/security issues; (15) TCDRS 2002
Budget Issues; (16) Juvenile Facility plans and contract/cost issues.
