Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
JANUARY 28, 2002
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at nine a.m. January 28, 2002, with the
meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on January 28, 2002, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve Minutes of January
22, 2002.
County Engineer
Consider
authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for the annual purchases
of concrete, pit-run gravel, hot mix, cold mix, aggregate, and asphalt
(emulsion and prime).
Personnel.
Presentation of
annual report of the Bell County Historical Commission.
Presentation of awards by the Bell County Sheriff's
Department.
Announce Governor Perry's appointment of County Judge Jon
Burrows to the Senate Bill #7's Task Force on Indigent Defense.
Publication of Redistricting and Voting Precinct Maps.

Meeting on US 190 Issues, Thursday 1/31/02 at 9 a.m. at CTCOG Conference
Room; 6) Fund Raiser for Greg Abbot, Friday 02/1/02 at 7 a.m. at Inn
at Scott & White; 7) Fund Raiser for Tim Brown, Saturday at 7 p.m.
at 2 N Main in Salado.
