Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
MARCH 11, 2002
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at nine a.m. March 11, 2002, with the
meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on March 11, 2002, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve Minutes of
March 4, 2002.
County Engineer
Consider re-naming
a portion of Maxdale Road to Wolfridge Road.
Personnel.
Consider
Interlocal Agreement on helicopter usage.
Report by County
Clerk on election activities and election night procedures.
WORKSHOP SESSION:
(1) Health care consultants meeting; (2) Protocols on collecting fines
and fees; (3) Financial and HR Software/Hardware/Implementation
issues and consultant's visit; (4) Consultants comments on Fair
Labor Standards issues; (5) Budget Issues; (6) Insurance
Coverage Issues; (7) Personnel Issues; (8) Engineering/Road
issues; (9) ETJ platting approval issues; (10)
Maintenance/Building/Security Issues; (11) Carnegie building
engineering proposal; (12) Medical Insurance update and bid
procedures; (13) New Legislation; (14) Long/Short Range
Building Plans; (15) Juvenile Facility construction update;
(16) Potts Building construction update; (17) Appointment procedures
and vacancies; (18) North and East County Judges &
Commissioner's Convention Planning; (19) Conference of Urban Counties
Building Purchase.
WILL ATTEND: Where County business may be discussed: (1)
Election night reporting at EXPO Center on Tuesday 3/12/02 at 7
p.m.; (2) Meeting with indigent health care consultants at auditor's
conference room on Wednesday 3/12/02 at 10 a.m.; (3) Opening of
Harker Heights City Hall on Thursday 3/14/02 at 10 a.m.
