Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
MARCH 25, 2002

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at nine a.m. March 25, 2002, with the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on March 25, 2002, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

  1. Approve Minutes of March 18, 2002.

  2. County Engineer

    1. Consider approval of the final plat of Barnes and Hart Addition.

    2. Consider approval of the final plat of Goodnight's Prairie Dell Subdivision.

    3. Consider approval of the Interlocal Government Agreement with the City of Morgan's Point Resort regarding HB 1445, ETJ Subdivisions.

    4. Consider approval of the Interlocal Government Agreement with the City of Troy regarding HB 1445, ETJ Subdivisions.

    5. Consider approval of the Interlocal Government Agreement with the City of Copperas Cove regarding HB 1445 ETJ Subdivisions.  

    6. Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for the fencing of new right of way on Stone Road and Arthur Cemetery Road. 

    7. Personnel.

  3. Consider proclamation declaring 3/28/02 Academy Bumblebee Day.

  4. Consider amendment to Central Texas Narcotics Task Force Grant Application. 

  5. Consider appointment of representative to serve on Board of Texas Urban Counties Local Government Corporation.

  6. Consider update on implementation of Senate Bill 7 Indigent Defense Plan.

  7. Consider report on meeting with TxDOT Executive Director and Governor's Office on Trans Texas Corridor Plan.

  8. Consider FY 2001 Annual Audit Report.

  9. Claims.

    WILL ATTEND:  Where County business may be discussed:  (1) Luncheon honoring Dan Green at 11:30 a.m. on Monday 3/25/02 at Fort Hood Officers Club;  (2) Bell County Communications Center monthly executive meeting at 2 p.m. on Monday 3/25/02 at Conference Room;  (3) Leadership Belton at 2 p.m. on Tuesday 3/26/02 at Commissioners Courtroom;  (4) United Way Reception at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday 3/27/02 at Wildflower Country Club in Temple;  (5) Workforce Board at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday 3/28/02 at Killeen Workforce Center;  (6) CTCOG Executive Board at noon on Thursday 3/28/02 at CTCOG Meeting Room;  (7) Central Texas Republican Women meeting at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, 3/20/02 at Wildflower Country Club in Temple.
