Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
JUNE 03, 2002
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at nine a.m. June 03, 2002, with the
meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on June 03, 2002, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve Minutes of May
28, 2002.
County Engineer
Consider
approval of an interlocal agreement with the City of Nolanville for the
seal coating of approximately 2.2 Miles of City Streets.
Consider approval
of an interlocal agreement with the City of Nolanville regarding HB 1445.
Consider
vacation/abandonment of a drainage and utility easement located between
lots 14 & 15, Tingled Subdivision.
Personnel.
Consider
Reinstating Burn Ban.
Consider report on
results of County Auction conducted on 5/18/02.
Authorize County
Auditor to advertise for Request for Qualifications for Management
Consultants and Registered Engineers for the Texas Community Development
Program on behalf of Bell County W.C.I.D. #5.
Consider policy
adopting Depreciation Approach as method for Infrastructure Asset
Reporting under GASB 34.
Authorize County
Auditor to advertise for request for proposals for consultants for
development of a fixed asset Inventory, Appraisal and Management System
under GASB 34.
Consider
resolution in support of Texas Brazos Trailblazers submission of a grant
application to the Texas Historical Commission under the Texas Travel
Trail Program regarding the Brazos Trail.
Consider
endorsement of the Village of Salado's population analysis figure of
2,353.
Consider
certifications and approvals regarding the issuance by the Central Texas Housing
Finance Corporation of Single Family Mortgage Revenue Bonds,
Series 2002A, in an amount not to exceed $25,000,000.00.
Consider report on
Grant Application under Indigent Defense Grant Program.
Update on North
& East Texas County Judges & Commissioner's Convention.
