Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
JUNE 10, 2002
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at nine a.m. June 10, 2002, with the
meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on June 10, 2002, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve Minutes of June 3, 2002.
County Engineer
- Consider releasing the Warranty Letter of Credit for Salado Prairies
Subdivision.
- Consider releasing the Warranty Bond for Glen Meadows Phase II.
- Consider approval of the Interlocal Agreement with the City of Killeen
regarding the platting of E.T.J. Subdivision.
- Consider approval of the final plat of Mill Creek Courtyard Village.
- Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for the Right
of Way Fencing on Dillard Road and a portion of Amity School Road.
- Personnel
Consider modification or continuation of Burn Ban.
- Consider order prohibiting use of restricted fireworks (skyrockets with
sticks and missiles with fins) for Fourth of July fireworks season.
- Introduce J. Brown, new District Director for Senator Troy Fraser.
Consider proclamation naming June 12-18 as Association
of the US Army (AUSA) Support Week in Bell County.
Recognize Bell County personnel who participated in
North and East Texas County Judges’ and Commissioners’ Conference.
Consider results of Request for Proposals for portable
and Mobile Radio Maintenance.
- Announce TxDOT I-35 meeting on Thursday June 13, 2002, at EXPO Center
from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Consider a resolution approving the consolidation of
Bell County and City of Belton Maintenance of Birth and Death Records.
