Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
JUNE 18, 2002

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at nine a.m. June 18, 2002, with the meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on June 18, 2002, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

  1. Approve Minutes of June 10, 2002.

  2. Consider awarding contract for RFP "05-02" for a Telephony and Data Network Consultant.

  3. Authorize County Auditor to advertise for bids for sale of the property located at 102-104 South East Street in Belton, referred to as the "East Annex."

  4. Consider Quarterly Report from County Treasurer.

  5. Consider extension of contract with the Attorney General for processing IV-D payments.

  6. Consider approval of revised Order regulating the keeping of dangerous wild animals, replacing Orders dated 9/2/97 and 11/19/01.

  7. Consider Design, Build Contract for addition to County Clerk's Office. 

  8. Consider Resolution of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, approving the financing or refinancing of a health facility and the incurrence of loans for that purpose.  Authorizing the County Judge to approve the loans and the project in accordance with Internal Revenue Code Section 147(f), and to declare the County's current compliance with, and its intention to comply with, the requirements of Internal Revenue Code Section 265(b), all in connection with the King's Daughters Hospital Association financing, Series 2002.

  9. Consider renewal of Agreement with Lone Star Legal Aid (formerly Central Texas Legal Aid) to process protective orders. 

  10. Consider renewal of Memorandum of Understanding with Lone Star Legal Aid to provide services as Juvenile Court Magistrates upon appointment by the Juvenile Court.

  11. Claims.
