Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
JULY 01, 2002
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at nine a.m. July 01, 2002, with the
meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on July 01, 2002, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve Minutes of June 24, 2002.
County Engineer
- Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for the hot
mix overlay of a portion of Moffat and Cedar Ridge Park Roads.
- Consider approval of an interlocal agreement with City of Holland
to mow, on a one-time basis, the area surrounding their sewage treatment
lagoon.
- Personnel
Consider resolution in support of the Pledge
of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.
- Authorize County Auditor to seek bids on budgeted computer purchases.
- Consider/approve renewal of Memorandum of Understanding with Lone Star
Legal Aid to provide services to represent indigent parents in proceedings
brought by the Texas Department of Regulatory and Protective Services upon
appointment by the District Court.
Consider/approve change orders for JJAEP education
building contract.
Consider/approve modified resolution supporting grant
application for Communities in Schools programs for Rogers ISD and Salado
ISD.
