Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
AUGUST 12, 2002
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at nine a.m. August 12, 2002, with the
meeting to be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom, at the Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on August 12, 2002, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve Minutes of July 23, 2002, July 29, 2002, and
August 5, 2002.
County Engineer
- Consider preliminary approval of the plat for Mill Creek Springs, Phase
III, a 25-lot, 16.931 acre development in the E.T.J. of the Village of
Salado.
- Consider entering into a contract with Fugro-Bre to collect distress
data and determine a pavement condition index for the county's paved
roads.
- Consider final approval of the plat for Culp addition, Unit One, a
one-lot, 1.382 acre subdivision on Sparta Road.
- Personnel.
Receive report from Wayne Farrell, Director Bell County
Health Department, on status of West Nile Virus issue in Bell County and
steps to take to reduce risks.
Announce Texas Cooperative Extension program on Black
Mold at 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 19 at the Bell County EXPO Center.
Consider approval of renewal of Interlocal Agreement
with CTCOG for Database Maintenance for 9-1-1 Addresses for FY 2003.
Consider approval of Statement of Work Amendment with
SBI and Company to add or clarify support services for CarteGraph Project
Management, Fixed Asset System, Policies & Procedures, and Indigent
Healthcare.
Consider approval of FY 2003 County Indigent Health Care
Program (CIHCP) continued inclusion of optional CIHCP services and
continued administration of CIHCP in accordance with criteria in Texas
Department of Health CIHCP Handbook.
Consider approval of one-year Interlocal Agreement with
City of Temple for Bell County to develop computer software to process and
maintain records regarding early voting and to allow Temple to use Bell
County fiber optic network to access these programs and the data related
thereto.
Consider approval of appointment to board of Central
Counties MHMR.
Claims.
Conduct an Executive Session under Section 551.074 of
the Texas Government Code to deliberate personnel matters.
