Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
SEPTEMBER 03, 2002
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at nine a.m. September 03, 2002,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on September 03, 2002, at 9:00 a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve Minutes of August 26 and 28, 2002.
County Engineer
- Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for the right
of way fencing on Franklin Road.
- Consider approval of an Interlocal Agreement with Rogers I.S.D. for the
seal coating of approximately 9,300 square yards of parking lot.
- Consider adding to the annual work plan right of way acquisition on
Lindemann Road from Gooseneck to Kelsoville.
- Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for the right
of way fencing on Crows Ranch and Eagle's Nest Road.
- Consider abandonment of the drainage and utility easements between Lots
577 and 578, Tanglewood Subdivision.
- Personnel.
Consider changing the previously approved polling places
within the City Limits of Killeen. Considerar cambiar los lugares

Consider approval of agreement with Lewis Design Group
for Architectural Services for the addition to the County Clerk's Office.
Consider audited report on proceeds of Criminal Asset
Forfeitures of Central Texas Narcotics Task Force.
Consider Federal Annual Certification Report on summary
of equitable sharing activity of Central Texas Narcotics Task Force.
Consider approval of Memorandum of Understanding with
TxDOT, the Cities of Hillsboro and Waco, McLennan County, Hill County,
Fort Hood, Baylor University, Waco MPO, and Killeen-Temple Urban
Transportation Study regarding development and implementation of
Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) in the region.
Consider report from Sheriff Dan Smith on receipt of
additional revenues from Inmate Phone System.
Announce eligibility of Bell County to apply for
low-interest emergency loans due to being contiguous to County declared an
Agriculture Disaster Area.
Confirm Coryell County's appointment of Douglas Smith to
the nine-member Board of Trustees of Central Counties MH/MR Center.
