Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
OCTOBER 28, 2002
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., October 28, 2002,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on October 28, 2002, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve Minutes of October 15 and 21, 2002.
County Engineer
- Consider approval of the final plat for Baldwin Estates.
- Consider setting date for the abandonment/vacation of the roads in
Sunhill Settlement.
- Consider releasing maintenance bond for Eagle Rock Ranch Subdivision.
- Personnel.
Consider authorizing County Judge to bid at foreclosure
sale of building at 120 Penelope Street, Belton, used as collateral for
Bail Bonds.
Consider approval of proposed 2003 Holiday
Schedule.
Consider approval of purchase of Labor Collection
System.
Consider approval of periodic upgrade for AS/400
computer system.
Consider approval of Order clarifying December 5, 1994
Order under Section 842.201 of the Texas Government Code to include the
provisions of Section 843.602, making clear that previous prosecuting
attorneys are included in Texas County & District Retirement
System.
Consider approval of consulting services for development
of RFP and supervision of implementation of voice and data network phone
system.
Consider approval of additional/substitute election
judges/officials for November 5, 2002 General Election.
Consider approval of appointment of Cynthia Geers of
Belton to Bell County Child Welfare Board.

10/29/02: Personal Interviews for Fire Marshal/Emergency Management
Position.
TO BE HELD AT 2 P.M. TUESDAY 10/29/02: Meeting on
county-wide mapping initiatives and alternatives.
