Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
DECEMBER  23, 2002

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., December 23, 2002, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on December 23, 2002, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

  1. Approve Minutes of December 16, 2002.

  2. County Engineer

    1. Personnel.

  3. Consider authorizing County Treasurer to participate in Tex Pool Prime Investment Program.

  4. Consider approval of consulting agreement/statement of work with SBI for JD Edwards Labor Collection Interface with Kronos series TimeKeeper.

  5. Consider approval of Criminal Justice grant application for $651,395.00 for continued operation of Central Texas Narcotics Task Force, with Bell County providing $263,646.00 in matching funds. 

  6. Consider authorizing County Auditor to advertise for requests for Proposals for Voice Over IP and Data Network. 

  7. Consider approval of Fire Marshal's Official Bond.

  8. Consider payment of Perryman's Group, Consultant, for population projects to support water matters in the amount of $9,437.00.

  9. Recognize county employees who enabled Bell County to implement new GASB 34 Chart of Accounts on 12/9/02:  Donna Eakin, Tina Entrop, Russell Williams, Denise Fiebig, Christine Malhosky, Janey Heath, Ronda Montgomery, Natalie Ortiz, Connie Priddy, Kay Sladovnik, Ron Heuss, Laura Hardcastle, Ned Roehrig, Nancy Polmanter, Sam Henderson, Rodney Hess, Richard Macchi, Mary Henderson, Charles Jones, Lucinda Jaeger, Maria Murphree, Melissa Vrabel, Virginia Suarez, and Elizabeth Urubek. 

  10. Recognize and honor outgoing Precinct #4 Commissioner John Stephenson.
