Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
APRIL 07, 2003
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., April 07,
2003,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on April 07, 2003, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve minutes of March 31, 2003.
County Engineer.
- Consider approval of the Final Plat for Alford Addition, a Two-Lot, 2.53
acre subdivision in the E.T.J. of the City of Temple, on Boutwell East
Lane.
- Consider approval of the Final Plat for Shaw Branch East, Phase 2, a
Six-Lot, Three acre development on Jack Rabbit Road in the E.T.J. of the
City of Nolanville.
- Consider approval of the Final Plat for Lucus Addition, a One-Lot, One
acre subdivision off of U.S. 190 Frontage road.
- Personnel.
Consider Resolution implementing different requirements,
designations, and adoptions of policies and other actions in compliance
with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Consider Proclamation designating the month of April
2003 to be "Child Abuse Prevention Month."
Consider approval of City of Temple Tax Abatement
Agreement with Pactiv Corporation.
Receive report and review of 2003 Tobacco Settlement
Expenditure Report.
Authorize County Auditor to advertise for bids for the
Depository of Funds for Bell County.
Authorize County Auditor to advertise for bids for the
Outside Installation of Fiber Optic at three locations: Blackland
Research Center, VA Hospital, and Bell County Health District Office at
Lanier Center in Temple.
Authorize County Auditor to advertise for bids for
Outside Installation of Fiber Optic at new Information Systems
Offices.
Consider approval of Addendum of Subcontract between the
Texas Agricultural Experiment Station Texas A&M University System and
Bell County, Texas dated October 6, 2002.
Consider award of bid for Curriculum Development.
Consider approval of Inter-Jurisdictional Mutual Aid
Agreement between Bell County and all municipalities located within or
partially within Bell County as part of qualifications for Domestic
Preparedness Funding.
Recognize students visiting Court as a Part of County
Government Week.
