Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
APRIL 14, 2003
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., April 14,
2003,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on April 14, 2003, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve minutes of April 7, 2003.
County Engineer.
- Consider awarding bids for liquid asphalt products.
- Personnel.
Recognize and present Communications Center Awards as
part of National Public Safety Telecommunications Week.
Receive report and update from Ralph Gauer, AUSA
President, on Fort Hood support activities and programs.
Consider Resolution in Support of Joint Petition to the
Texas Transportation Commission on behalf of the Killeen-Temple Urban
Transportation Study (K-TUTS) and the Waco Urban Transportation Study.
Consider Resolution declaring April 2003 as Fair Housing
Month in Bell County.
Authorize County Auditor to advertise for Proposals to
Furnish Internet Service.
Authorize County Auditor to advertise for Bids to
Purchase a Forklift for Building and Grounds.
Consider Resolution in Support of HJR 91 which prohibits
the passage of unfunded mandates onto counties.
