Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
APRIL 21, 2003
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., April 21,
2003,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on April 21, 2003, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve minutes of April 7 and 14, 2003.
Recognition of the late TxDOT Area Engineer Jim Cowan with
Proclamation from the Texas State Senate sponsored by Senator Troy Fraser.
County Engineer.
- Consider requesting TxDOT extend the limits of F.M. 2670 to include the
new bridge (commonly referred to as the "New Maxdale Bridge")
over the Lampasas River.
- Consider approval of an interlocal agreement with The Village of Salado
for the seal coating of approximately 2.0 miles of village roads.
- Consider final approval of Lots 26-1 and 27-1, Block One, The Woods of
Salado, an Amending Plat of Lots 26-A, 26-B, and 27-A, Block One, The
Woods of Salado.
- Personnel.
Consider approval of agreement with Kohutek Engineering
& Testing for engineering services to evaluate the two columns at the
Bell County Law Enforcement Center.
Consider approval of submission of grant application to
the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for funding to support the
formation of Citizen Corps Councils and Community Emergency Response Teams
(CERT) to promote community preparedness and family safety and engage
citizens in homeland security.
Consider approval of Interlocal Agreement for
Participation in Integrated Justice Information System Project with the
Conference of Urban Counties and other participating counties.
