Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
August 04, 2003

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., August 04, 2003, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on August 04, 2003, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. Moment of silence in memory of Sgt. Daniel Methvin of Belton and other Fort Hood soldiers killed in Iraq.

2. Approve minutes of July 21 and July 28, 2003.

3. County Engineer.
   

4. Personnel.

5. Consider institution of Burn Ban.

6. Consider approval of appointment of Dr. John Asbury of Temple and attorney Mickey Wade of Belton as Bell County representatives to the Board of Central Texas MHMR.

7. Discuss renovation needs of District Courts Building, the need to vacate building for 16-18 months if bond issue fails, and costs involved for relocations.

8. Consider setting public hearing dates and locations for presentations on jail/courts bond issue.
