Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
September 08, 2003

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., September 08, 2003, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on September 08, 2003, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

1. Approve minutes of September 2, 2003. 

2. County Engineer.

1. Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for the following materials:
   
   1. Culverts;
   2. Reinforcing Steel;
   3. Crushed Limestone Base;
   4. Rip Rap Rock; and
   5. Uniforms.
      
      

3. Personnel.

4. Consider status on Burn Ban.

5. Consider ratification of the following appointments by other counties of their representatives on the Central Counties MHMR Board for two-year terms;
   
   

   1. Ms. Sue Faulkner of Lampasas County;
   2. Mr. Elwood Shemwell of Coryell County; 
   3. Ms. Ann King of Milam County; and
   4. Dr. Forrest Harris of Hamilton County. 
      
      

6. Consider annual approval of Memorandum of Understanding with Killeen I.S.D. regarding educational services for Juvenile Residential Center.

7. Consider approval of Interlocal Agreement with Hill Country Transit District regarding installation of above ground fuel storage tank at Precinct 4 Barn at FM 2410 in Killeen.

8. Announce Heart of Texas Defense Alliance presentation regarding Central Texas Regional Support of Fort Hood and our local defense industry set for 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 9, 2003 at Killeen Civic and Conference Center. 

9. Consider audited report on proceeds of Criminal Asset Forfeitures of Central Texas Narcotics Task Force.

10. Consider awarding bid on placing an ATM Machine at Bell County Killeen Annex. 

11. Consider authorizing County Judge to enter into professional agreement with Charles Voelter for architectural services concerning property next to Killeen Annex. 

12. Consider authorizing County Auditor to re-advertise for bids to sell 711 Dunbar in Temple, after receiving no bids on prior advertisement.
