Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
September 22, 2003
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., September
22,
2003,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on September 22, 2003, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve minutes of September 8 and 15, 2003.
County Engineer.
- Consider appointment to the Killeen-Temple Urban Transportation Study
(K-TUTS) Policy Board.
Consider approval of the Final Plat for Ingleside
Subdivision, a Two-Lot, 29.026 Acre Subdivision in the E.T.J. of the City
of Temple, on Boutwell Drive.
Consider approval of an Interlocal Agreement with the
City of Belton for the transportation of their tracked loader.
Consider adding the acquisition of right of way on
Guyton Road, from Franklin Road to the McLennan County Line, to the Annual
Work Plan.
Personnel.
Introduction, consideration and approval of Texas
Cooperative Extension's recommended applicant, Dick Aaron, for the County
Extension Agent-Agriculture/Natural Resources Vacancy, with introduction
by Ron Woolley, District Extension Administrator.
Consider approval of Resolution in Support of the
Adoption of the Fiscal Year 2004 Statewide Mobility Study as also
supported by the Killeen-Temple Urban Transportation Study.
Consider approval of Regional Mutual Aid Agreement
between Bell County and the other six counties in the Central Texas
Council of Governments Region to allow responses to emergencies on a
regional level, when necessary, and utilize all regional resources in an
emergency situation.
Consider approval of an Interlocal Agreement with Wood
County for the purpose of cooperative purchasing as authorized under
sections 271.101 and 271.102 of the Local Government Code.
Consider approval of Citizens' Task Force to study and
make recommendations concerning Jail/Courts Project.
Consider authorizing County Judge to enter into
agreement with Development Corporation of Belton and the City of Belton to
extend option time for purchase of Loop 121 property.
