Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
November 17, 2003
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., November 17,
2003,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on November 17, 2003, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve minutes of November 10, 2003.
County Engineer.
- Consider final approval of the Replat of The Cliffs of Woodlake, Phase
II, a 14.248 Acre, Thirteen Lot Development in the E.T.J. of the City of
Temple.
Personnel.
Consider approval of grant submission for Victim of
Crimes Act (VOCA).
Announce reminder of setting, at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 18,
of Workshop on federal Help America Vote Act (HAVA) and the state
implementation statute that requires elimination of Bell County's lever
voting machines by January 1, 2006, and the costs involved.
Consider awarding bids on county vehicles.
Consider approval of renewal of the Staff Contribution
contract with the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services
(for child protective services) effective September 1, 2003 to August 31,
2004.
