Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
December 01, 2003
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., December
01,
2003,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on December 01, 2003, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve minutes of November 24, 2003.
County Engineer.
Personnel.
Recognize District Attorney Henry Garza and County Judge
Jon Burrows as members of the Policy Analysis Group of the Texas
Association of Counties.
Consider Resolution supporting legislation prohibiting
unfunded mandates on Texas Counties, whether by an act of the Texas
Legislature or a state agency or by executive order, unless the state of
Texas has fully funded and disbursed all necessary funds to comply with
the mandates.
Consider appointments to Board of Central Counties MHMR
Center.
Consider awarding bid on county vending services.
Consider awarding bid for sale of four motor graders or
using vendor buy-back program.
Consider two-year no-cost extension of Memorandum of
Agreement regarding BellNET between Bell County and Texas Agricultural
Extension Service (TAES).
Consider final approval of management contract with
Right Turn Management for management services for Bell County Detention
Center.
