Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
January 20, 2004
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., January
20, 2004,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on January 20, 2004, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve minutes of January 12, 2004.
Receive update on grass fire and public safety hazard and
consideration of continuation or termination of Order Restricting Outdoor Burning.
County Engineer.
- Conduct authorizing the County Engineer to sell at auction four (4)
railroad flatcars.
- Consider approval of the final plat for C & M Smith Addition, a
Replat of Lot 3, Block 1, Brock Addition, in the E.T.J. of the City of
Killeen.
- Consider closing or keeping open Neroc Road over the B.N. & S.F.
Railroad tracks near Rogers, Texas.
Personnel.
Consider approval of submission of Central Texas
Narcotics Task Force grant application for 2004/2005 funding in the amount
of $541,805.00, with grant funding of $387,272.00 from the Criminal
Justice Division of the Governor's Office and a match of $154,533.00 from
the Department of Public Safety and other entities.
Consider approval of submission of Juvenile
Accountability Block Grant application for 2004/2005 in the amount of $
59,199.00 with local match of $5,920.00.
