Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
March  08, 2004

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., March 08, 2004, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on March 08, 2004, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

  1. Approve minutes of February 9, 20, & 23, 2004. 

  2. County Engineer.

    1. Consider final approval of the Plat for Chesser-Pitrucha Subdivision, a Two-Lot, Six-Acre Subdivision of property on Moffat Road, in the E.T.J. of the City of Temple.   
    2. Consider awarding bid for the construction of 3200 fee of Right of Way fencing along Stallion Road.   
    3. Consider abandoning the drainage and utility easements between Lots 33, 34 and 35, Tanglewood Subdivision.  

  3. Personnel.

  4. Consider Letter of Agreement with Fort Hood concerning the connection of compatible radio systems to create a Regional Information Shared System that meets Federal Homeland Defense mandates.  

  5. Consider participation in AUSA Adopt a Unit Program.   

  6. Consider appointment to vacancy on board of Bell County Exposition Center.  

  7. Consider approval of contract for remediation/environmental services on specified county buildings. 

  8. Consider Resolution in recognition of National Agriculture Week, March 14-20, 2004.   

  9. Discuss Election night location and procedures.  

  10. Claims.  

  11. Executive session on personnel issues.
