Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
April 26, 2004
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., April 26, 2004,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on April 26, 2004, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve minutes of April 19, 2004.
County Engineer.
- Consider setting date for a public hearing for the vacation/abandonment
of Cutoff Road.
- Consider final approval of the Plat for Sanders Park Addition, a 3.201
Acre, Two-Lot Subdivision off of Rose Lane, in the E.T.J. of the Village
of Salado.
Personnel.
Consider Report on "Task Force Ironhorse Day"
at Fort Hood on April 22 and receipt of the Commander's Certificate from
the Commanding General of 4th ID for support of Fort Hood soldiers and
their families.
Consider approval of an Order Approving the Issuance of
a Note by the Mart Cultural Facilities Corporation for Heart of Texas
Goodwill Industries, Inc. to satisfy I.R.S. under Section 147(f) of the
Internal Revenue Code concerning approval by jurisdictions in which the
Goodwill Project is located, with no liability or obligation of Bell
County.
Consider approval of grant submission by BellNET, Inc.
for US Department of Agriculture Rural Utilities Service Distance Learning
and Telemedicine Grant Program and for the US Department of Commerce,
National Telecommunications and Information Administration, Technology
Opportunities Program.
Set date for public meeting concerning Jail/Courts Bond
Issue.
