Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
May 03, 2004
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., May 03, 2004,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on May 03, 2004, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve minutes of April 26, 2004.
County Engineer.
- Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for
furnishing crushed limestone base to the Sunshine-Strasburger Road
project.
- Consider releasing Letter of Credit No. 0390, First State Bank, in the
amount of $5,740.00 for the maintenance of streets in Mill Creek Springs
III.
Personnel.
Receive Report from Richard McGhee, Director of Area
Agency on Aging, on new Medicare-Approved Drug Discount Card, with
enrollment beginning May 3 and cards becoming active June 1, 2004.
Presentation and consideration of the FY 2003 Annual
Audit Report.
Presentation to Bell County Auditor's Office the
Government Finance Office Association Award for Bell County's
Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the Fiscal Year ended September
30, 2002.
