Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
June 14, 2004
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., June 14, 2004,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on June 14, 2004, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Moment of Silence in Honor of the Passing of President
Ronald Reagan.
Approve minutes of June 1, 2004.
County Engineer.
- Consider approval of an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Little
River-Academy regarding the administration of Subdivision Regulations in
the E.T.J. of the City.
- Consider approval of an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Little
River-Academy for the seal coating of 0.9 miles of City road and 2,200
square yards of City parking lot.
- Consider releasing the Maintenance Letter of Credit for Mill Creek
Springs Overlook (No. 407, First State Bank, $3,289.25).
- Consider releasing the Maintenance Letter of Credit for Crossland
Estates (No. 562, First National Bank, Killeen, $ 15,560.50) and accepting
a renewal to Letter of Credit No. 563 for the completion of construction
of roads in Crossland Estates.
- Consider approval of the Bell County Policy for Acceptance of Roads for
County Maintenance.
- Consider abandonment/release of Drainage and Utility Easement along the
common property line of Lots 43 and 44, Block 1, Tanglewood Subdivision.
- Consider final approval of the plat for Hunter's Creek, a Three-Lot,
10.004 Acre Subdivision off of St. Joseph Road.
Personnel.
Consider ratification and approval of Coryell County's
nomination of Jim Kanzenbach of Copperas Cove for appointment to the Board
of Trustees for Central Counties MHMR Center to fill the unexpired term
through August 31, 2005 of Elwood Shemwell.
Recognition of Pct 1 Commissioner Richard Cortese upon
his election as President of the 68-county member North and East Texas
County Judge and Commissioners Association.
Consider approval of Resolution approving an updated
application to the Texas Criminal Justice Division, Office of the
Governor, for a District Attorney's Victim Assistance Grant in the amount
of $ 69,597.00.
