Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
July 26, 2004
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., July 26, 2004,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on July 26, 2004, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve minutes of July 19, 2004.
County Engineer.
- Consider authorizing County Engineer to auction off two railroad flat
cars.
- Consider approval of an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Troy for
the seal coating of approximately 0.3 miles of city streets.
- Consider releasing Construction Bond No. SS6179, St. Paul Surety, in the
amount of $10,000.00 for the vegetation in Hidden Springs 2.
- Consider approval of an Interlocal Agreement with Academy I.S.D. for the
seal coating of approximately 9,400 square yards of parking lot.
Personnel.
Consider approval of lease of an additional Registration
and Titling System (RTS) Workstation for the Fort Hood Vehicle
Registration Office and budget amendment for approximately $1,500.00 per
year.
Consider approval of purchase of equipment for the Fort
Hood Vehicle Registration Office to include copier, fax machine, security
safe, and chairs, and approval of budget line-item adjustments.
Consider Bilingual Election Official Requirements notice
from Secretary of State for 2004 General Election.
Receive and consider approval of Notice of Rate Change
for Medical Examiner Services in the Interlocal Cooperation Agreement for
Medical Examiner Services (ICAMES) between Travis County and Bell County
from $1,800.00 to $2,000.00 for each body for autopsy services, with
Medical Examiner testimony remaining at $500.00.
Consider ratification and approval of contract with
Daily-Wells Communications, Inc. for Bell County Systems Upgrade under
Central Texas Council of Governments master contract and reallocations for
implementation of Homeland Security grants.
