Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
September 13, 2004

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., September 13, 2004, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on September 13, 2004, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:

  1. Approve minutes of August 30 & September 7, 2004. 

  2. County Engineer.

    1. Conduct Public Hearing and consider approval of the following traffic control devices:

      1.  Install 55 mph speed limit on Cedar Creek Road. 
      2.  Install 55 mph speed limit on Hartrick Bluff Road from Temple City Limit to Hartrick Bluff Spur.

  3. Personnel.

  4. Introduction and approval of Dustin Wayne Coufal for County Extension Agent Natural Resource position with Texas Cooperative Extension office in Bell County.

  5. Receive status report on repairs at District Courts Building following elevator fire on August 27, 2004 and consider approval of appropriate actions.

  6. Conduct Public Hearing and consider approval of Local Law Enforcement Block Grant application.

  7. Consider approval of Resolution designating September as National Preparedness Month in Bell County.

  8. Receive report from District Judges of Order certifying the FY 2004-2005 County Auditor's budget. 

  9. Receive report of Order from District Judges concerning Court Reporter pay. 

  10. Authorize County Auditor to advertise for bids for Transporting of Bodies for Autopsies. 

  11. Claims.
