Notice of the Meeting of
the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
November 08, 2004
Notice is hereby given that a
regular meeting of the
above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., November 08, 2004,
with the
meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the
Bell
County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to
begin on November 08, 2004, at 9:00
a.m.
and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance
with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas. The
following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:
Approve minutes of October 18, 25, 29 & November 1, 2004.
County Engineer.
- Consider approval of an Interlocal Agreement with the Academy ISD for
the priming and seal coating of Pondalily Drive, in Little River-Academy.
- Consider releasing Letter of Credit No. 107, First Texas Bank, in the
amount of $220,000.00 and accepting Letters of Credit for Maintenance (No.
1019. $11,000.00) and for Erosion Control (No. 1018, $5,000.00) for the
Woods at Cedar Oaks, Section One.
- Consider final approval of the plat for Chaparral Lee's Acres, a 7-Lot,
6.884 acre subdivision in the E.T.J. of the City of Killeen, at the end of
Cody Lane.
- Consider preliminary approval of the plat for McLean's Crossing, Phase
Six, a 5-Lot, 14.571 acre development off of F.M. 2670, in the E.T.J. of
the City of Killeen.
Personnel.
Consider update on the November 2, 2004 General
Election.
Consider presentation by the City of Belton and consider
request for approval of a Resolution in support of Bell County's
participation in the proposed City of Belton Tax Increment Reinvestment
Zone and consider appointment of a director or directors to represent the
County on the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Board.
Consider presentation by the City of Belton and consider
request for approval of a Resolution in support of the Dam to Dam Road
Project.
Consider update on status of the application for an
election of incorporation for the community of Stillhouse under the name
of the Village of Stillhouse.
Consider awarding bid for the purchase of 15 police
patrol vehicles.
