Notice of the Meeting of the Commissioners Court of Bell County, Texas, for
January 10, 2005

Notice is hereby given that a regular meeting of the above named Court will be held at 9:00 a.m., January 10, 2005, with the meeting to be held in the COMMISSIONERS' COURTROOM, at the Bell County Courthouse 101 Central Avenue, Belton, Texas, to begin on January 10, 2005, at 9:00 a.m. and continue thereafter until such business of the Court has been completed in accordance with Article 81.005 of the Local Government Code of the State of Texas.  The following items of business will be discussed, to-wit:


  1. Approve minutes of January 3 & 6, 2005.

  2. County Engineer

    1. Consider final approval of the plat for Ivy Trails Estates, Phase II, a 60-Lot, 64.645 acre development off of Oakalla Road, in the E.T.J. of the City of Copperas Cove (Precinct 4).

    2. Consider approving Letter of Support for the City of Rogers in their grant application for a community park.

    3. Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for 8,700 feet of Right of Way fencing on Landfill Road, Precinct 2.

    4. Consider final approval of Georgia Creek Subdivision, Phase II, a One-Lot, 3.47 acre subdivision fronting onto S.H. 95.

    5. Consider authorizing County Engineer to advertise for bids for the annual contracts for liquid asphalt, cold mix, hot mix, aggregate, pit-run gravel, lime and cement.

  3. Personnel.

  4. Conduct annual selection of Elected Officials Salary Grievance Committee for 2005 from Grand Jury Pool.

  5. Consider approval of grant submission for Victims of Crimes Act (VOCA) for Bell County Juvenile Probation Department.

  6. Consider approval of grant submission and acceptance for Project Safe Neighborhoods grant for Bell County Juvenile Probation Department.

  7. Consider appointment of Bell County representative to City of Temple Reinvestment Zone Number One Board of Directors. 

  8. Consider appointment of Bell County representative to Bell County Child Welfare Board.

  9. Consider selection of firm to provide Testing Laboratory Services for new Courts Building.

  10. Claims.
